Bar d’été is the smallest architectural act necessary to produce  space. A perimeter of slender columns defines the environment dedicated to the bar and mediates with the surrounding context: the courtyard, the ancient building of the Maréchalerie, the limestone wall and the basketball field. A narrow roof made of corrugated metal sheet lays on the two beams, which are reposing on the yellow structure. The roof covers only the table and the cabinet, sheltering the occasional bartender from the weather.
