CHAPELLE INT. LOT I

Lot I is both the first and the last element of the Chapelle International operation. Last in order of operational phase, it is the first architectural element visible from the trains departing from the center of Paris and from the main entrance to the site, located near the Chapelle roundabout. This singularity of Lot I is accentuated by a very pronounced public dimension, accompanied by innovative programming, itself made up of several activities, which are aimed at a very wide audience. The low world of Lot I therefore belongs to Lot I but also, and above all, to the city and the neighbourhood. The residential top world of Lot I is inscribed in a hexagonal  tower. This shape, associated with the context, offers us a unique panoramic condition, extremely rare in the Parisian urban tissue. Loggias, always occupying the corners of the hexagons, opens towards the urban landscape, while the core of the tower hosts a thick layer made by storage and the wet rooms.
